Seldomridge founded
Seldomridge Construction Inc. in 1985 and has been involved in local
homebuilding and remodeling ever since. After graduation from WVU in 1977; I
continue in the construction business as a journeyman carpenter for a West
Virginia builder. Then in 1979 my wife and family moved on to Raleigh, N.C. to
work as a superintendent for a large custom builder. Soon the dream of owning my
own company became a reality when in 1980 SCS was formed as a framing and interior/exterior trim
business. With the ultimate goal of growing this business into a homebuilding company I continued my education at Wake Technical College and received a drafting and design degree in 1982. SCS continued to grow and in 1985 we moved to Seven Lakes, receiving my general contractors License and incorporating the business. SCS now enjoys a great reputation for quality workmanship because of this good foundation in every phase of the building process. Vision: Even though we are traditional in our thinking, we continue refining our designs to meet the changing needs and desires of the Sandhills homebuyer. We have remodeled both the Seven Lakes Country Club and Beacon Ridge Country Club because of our ability to understand the difficulties that surround major renovation projects. We deliver jobs on time and with-in budgets, but also understand and am willing to make necessary changes for the desires of the owners. Quality: Our "On Site Builder" reputation has given us respect with the use of our sub-contractors. Thereby improving on their quality and performance. We are on site for them to ask questions, and work through problems concerning their work. We offer a tradition of superior quality, timely service and customer satisfaction.
